The grapes come from vineyards previously selected with an average age of 17 years. In the cooperative winery entry is performed a second selection based on strict criteria of plant health and low productivity.
Intensive colour with violet hues, complex aroma, with some notes of wild berries. In the mouth it is balanced, with round tannins and a persistent ending.
This wine should be served at a temperature of 19 C. It accompanies dishes such as Portuguese stew, rabbit with myrrh, Lafões veal, among other traditional delicacies.
